Implementation Science based Strategy for Action

About the Conference

The 2nd New Zealand Prevention Imperative: Universal Wellbeing Conference will bring diverse sectors together united by a determination to advance evidence-based prevention-first initiatives that make a measurable difference to our poor wellbeing metrics.

Building on past significant Universal Wellbeing events, the 2025 conference demonstrated that Universal Wellbeing is now recognised not just as an evidence-based wellbeing model but also as the powerful framework behind a new Prevention Universal Wellbeing Charter.

The Universal Wellbeing Model and Charter have the capacity to underpin and guide the creation of New Zealand Implementation Science Prevention Universal Wellbeing Strategy which can drive improvements in national Universal Wellbeing, workforce performance, education, health, long-term economic resilience, and diverse societal outcomes.

Leaders from government, education, health, social services, business, industries, policy, and research will be able to contribute to a shared momentum in 2026.
