PURPOSE

This symposium is designed to bring together people interested in advancing evidence-based Universal Wellbeing prevention-first initiatives that can measurably improve Australian national poor wellbeing metrics. Key entrenched national indicators of poor wellbeing that presenters may address include high levels of suicides, sexual and family violence, chronic illnesses and obesity, and mental health and anxiety, as well as low levels of life expectancy and educational achievement, home ownership, workplace wellbeing, and social cohesion and equity.

This symposium will focus on progressing understanding of the evidence-based Universal Wellbeing Model and the new "Universal Wellbeing Charter: A Framework for Global Primordial Prevention" community-led movement.

Leaders, researchers, professionals, practitioners, policy makers, and community members from diverse sectors are welcome to contribute to making a measurable difference to our national wellbeing outcomes. All are welcome.
